Terms of Service
Last updated: 2 September 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and WifiQRly when you use wifiqrly.com. By creating an account you accept them.
What WifiQRly is
WifiQRly lets you create QR codes, including dynamic codes that point to a short wifiqrly.com link you can re-target at any time, with scan statistics. We host the redirects, store your codes, and keep the lights on.
Your account
You need an account with a valid email address. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your login. One person (or one organisation) per account.
Acceptable use
Your codes may point anywhere lawful. They may not be used for:
- anything illegal, or content you don't have the right to link to;
- phishing, scams, malware, or deceiving people about where a code leads;
- spam or harassment.
We can disable codes or accounts that break these rules — that protects every other customer whose codes share this domain. We'd rather warn you first where possible.
Lifetime deals
A lifetime plan means: one payment, and your plan's features and code allowance for the operating life of the WifiQRly service — no renewal fees, no scan limits, and no downgrade when subscription pricing is introduced. "Lifetime" refers to the service's lifetime, not the heat death of the universe; if WifiQRly were ever to shut down entirely, we'll give lifetime holders at least 90 days' notice and a way to export their codes and destinations.
Fair use
Scans are unlimited in good faith. Automated flooding, abuse of the redirect network, or attempts to disrupt the service aren't scans — they're attacks, and we may block them.
Your content
Your codes, destinations, captions and logos remain yours. You give us the permission needed to store and serve them — that's all we need to run the service.
Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be fast and always on, and we build on infrastructure designed for that, but we can't promise perfection and the service is provided "as is". We may improve or change features over time; we won't remove a feature your paid plan was sold on.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending things
You can close your account whenever you like by emailing us. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account without cause, and you hold a paid plan, we'll refund a fair proportion.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes belong to the courts there.
